LOAF Cameras is an online retailer of new and used photographic equipment to businesses and individuals (“Services”). When you place an order with us, you're agreeing to our Terms & Conditions. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
Availability of Goods
All items are subject to availability. LOAF Cameras will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. All prices are subject to change without notification, and while every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the prices displayed on loafcameras.co.uk they are not guaranteed to be accurate. If any price is different from that displayed we will inform you before dispatching the order and you will have the option of continuing with the order or not.
Description of Goods
LOAF Cameras has made every effort to ensure all information on the website is accurate and informative. We've been involved in photography for decades and despite being professionals, it isn't possible for us to have absolute and specific knowledge of every manufacturer or system. All our items, despite what condition are several years, if not decades old, and should be treated with care and attention to preserve their longevity. We cannot be liable for any inconvenience or damages resulting in improper use of products, therefore by placing an order with us, you are confirming that you've undertaken the necessary research to ensure the item(s) you purchase are suitable for your requirements and you understand how to use them, including but not limited to thoroughly examining the product photos to ensure the product you're after meets your expectations. If you have any hesitation, you are welcome to request further photos and details. All prices and specifications are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to correct any errors, whether in pricing, description, specification etc, without notice.
Please ensure the recipient name and delivery address you supply is correct, is clear and in full for the postal service. We will only ship to the address supplied and cannot be held liable for any errors. All orders are sent via Royal Mail within 24 working hours. Estimates are as below, but according to Royal Mail's guidelines, please allow up to 28 days for delivery.
Delivery aims and charges are as follows;
- UK - 2nd Class Signed For (1-2 working days delivery aim) - £5
- UK - 1st Class Signed For (1-2 working days delivery aim) - £6
- EU - Tracked (3-5 working days delivery aim) - £20
- USA, Asia and Rest of World - Tracked and Signed (5-7 working days delivery aim)- £20

COVID-19 UPDATE: Please expect delays due to coronavirus. It is important our global postal workers have the time and space to protect themselves from unnecessary risk which could lead to death. If an item arrives within the timescale provided then that’s ideal, however, it is important for you to predict delays and purchase accordingly. We will not accept a refund or return based on a delay due to Covid-19. You will be entitled to the same returns process as normal. We hope you can understand that this is a global situation and it isn’t sustainable for us to offer any exception to this rule. Please only purchase with an understanding of a potential delay.
LOAF Cameras post items worldwide, but we are not liable for any import taxes, duties or customs charges incurred by the buyer. These are the sole responsibility of the buyer and in the unfortunate event of an international order being returned to us, we cannot refund customs charges, or import duties/taxes. LOAF Cameras is not responsible for any shipping costs or fees if the item is returned to sender unless the fault is LOAF Cameras, for instance - if the item was returned due to not being collected by the recipient, or if the recipient country is not accepting parcels from the UK. If purchasing from anywhere outside of the UK, it is the buyers responsibility to ensure their country is accepting international orders.
Please ensure you supply us with the correct address when entering your shipping details. We cannot be held responsible for any faults or issues with delivery due to incorrect delivery information, whether it is the details supplied to us [i.e the delivery address], or the details that the courier will use to identify the delivery address [no name or number on your property, or an incorrect/incomplete name/number]. Paypal make no exceptions when refunding and reprocessing a sale based on incorrect address details, so if an address change is required, we will have to charge you PayPal's fees for the initial transaction.
You are given a full thirty days from the receipt of the item to fully test and check all functions. The following policy lasts thirty days from the date of delivery and only applies under the condition that the item arrives faulty or defected.
If thirty days have gone since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund of exchange, but we can offer support!
If we do accept a return for an item and find it has no issues or other disagreements, we have a restocking fee from 10%. This will be deducted from your refund.
If you've damaged your item (whether by accident or not), or decide to get it fixed (by someone other than LOAF Cameras) this will void your 30 day guarantee with us. If you choose a different repair agent, you will then be under any guarantee set by them, as well as being responsible for any repair costs incurred by your decision.
Refunds (if applicable)
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it in.
Refunds will only be applicable where LOAF Cameras is deemed to be in contravention of the terms set out herein, we do not offer returns based on a change of mind. A refund will be given strictly at the discretion of LOAF Cameras. We reserve the right to issue refunds at any time prior to delivery.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- The item(s) are returned to us more than thirty days after delivery
- The item(s) are not in their original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
If you’re having trouble with your order, It's always worth checking for the manual online, as well as YouTube instructional videos as they'll illustrate the functions. However, you can always get in touch, we’re happy to support you with using your item(s).
To apply for a return, please send an email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. To be eligible for a return you must supply us with the following;
- Email Address used for purchase
- Date of receiving the item
- Video or Photographic evidence of the issue.
IF your return application has been approved,
Please send your item(s) back in their original condition with any additional extras or 'freebies' supplied.
Once your application for a return has been approved, you will be supplied with the relevant address to send the item to.
Initially, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). If we find the fault to be our error, we will also refund the original and return shipping (up to the value of the cheapest signed for/tracked return shipping option).
Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we are inspecting it and will be in touch as soon as possible with a with an approval or rejection of your refund. The inspection process can take up to 14 days.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Refunds usually take around 3-5 working days to process. However, if you are experiencing delays in receiving your refund after 5 working days and we've ensured it's been processed, please check your balance again. If you're still experiencing issues, then contact your bank. If you've done all of this and still not received your refund, please contact us at email@example.com.
You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

PLEASE BE AWARE, if returning from OUTSIDE the EU, unfortunately, we cannot cover the postage cost. In addition, please DO NOT USE COURIER SERVICES as there will be excessive clearance fees, we will either refuse delivery or charge the fees back to you. You must ensure the value on the parcel is listed as “ZERO” and you CLEARLY write "RETURNED GOODS" on the customs form and parcel itself as we will not accept parcels that incur duty charges.
As per PayPal's terms and conditions, if you decide to change your mind and cancel a payment, you will be still be liable to pay PayPal fees please see the PayPal User Agreement for details.
Your credit card details are not stored by LOAF Cameras. Payments will be made through Stripe or PayPal. Please also read their Terms and Conditions carefully before placing your order.
All payments are taken in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP), and will be charged at the current exchange rate. To view current exchange rates please contact your bank. Alternatively, you may visit an online currency converter (e.g. www.oanda.com/converter/classic). However, please bear in mind that LOAF Cameras cannot take responsibility for any inaccuracies in any information provided by any external website.
On the rare occasion that we accept a deposit to reserve one of our items, the deposit will always be non-refundable. Please be aware, when making a non-refundable deposit, you are entering in to the contract of purchasing an item with us. In the event where the buyer decides to exit the contract and not finalise the purchase, paying the additional funds, the non-refundable deposit will remain the property of LOAF Cameras.
Personal data received during the order process is used for the purpose of fulfilling orders. Customers may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject box. LOAF Cameras will never share the information collected on this website with any other group or organisation or commercial endeavour.
